Dual Credit

Orenda Charter School and Kingsland School are partnered with the University of Texas Permian Basin (through the Fall semester of 2025) and Central Texas College to offer high school students the opportunity to take dual credit college courses where students may receive credit for high school and college.  Choosing this challenge will set your scholar on the path to college readiness as they participate in rewarding learning experiences that will give them the opportunity to earn college credit before they graduate from high school. TSI Information – The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) is a state-required assessment of reading, writing, and math skills to help determine which courses you are eligible to enroll in.  Visit the TSI Assessment page at ACC for more information.  Am I exempt from TSI?
