Kingsland School will be expanding to 9th grade starting in the 2019-20 school year, pending minimum enrollment. Kingsland High School will be a college-prep campus preparing students for acceptance and success in the college that is the best fit for them. Students will complete the 8 hours of community service each year, personalized learning and college readiness courses, and at least two Dual Enrollment (college courses) or Advanced Placement courses for graduation along with graduating on the highest plan, Distinguished Level of Achievement. Majority of the instruction will be delivered in a blended-learning format with students participating in a combination of online and distance learning courses with face-to-face learning activities such as small group instruction and group projects. Some courses such as PE and Art 1 will be traditional direct instruction courses. Several Career and Technical Education paths will also be available for students.
